Mark Comerford
Performance Stability Director
The Performance Matrix Instructor (UK and worldwide)

Mark Comerford is a world renowned musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and lecturer and has taught courses on dynamic stability and muscle balance, sports physiotherapy and therapeutic exercise throughout the world.

With Sarah Mottram he has developed Performance Stability, which offers movement and core stability training courses for those involved in sport and movement. He has utilised his extensive knowledge and expertise in movement and core stability concepts to develop the Performance Matrix, which he is keen to promote to other professionals. These courses are based on The Performance Matrix - a method of stability assessment and retraining designed to find 'weak links' in the functional performance chain.

Mark has published several papers on the integration of local and global muscle retraining to enhance joint stability function. He has presented numerous conference papers and courses internationally on the area of assessment movement dysfunction and the use of exercise to treat mechanical stability dysfunction. He is also the Performance and Stability Consultant for the Chicago Bulls.

He continues to work clinically in Brisbane at 'Performance Rehab', established with the aim of providing a multidimensional approach to the management of musculoskeletal pain, movement dysfunction and elite level functional performance. Mark is a Director of KC International.

Sarah is a Physiotherapist with a special interest in the assessment and retraining of movement and stability faults. With Mark Comerford she has developed Performance Stability, which offers movement and core stability training courses for those involved in sport and movement. These courses are based on The Performance Matrix - a method of stability assessment and retraining designed to 'find weak links in the functional performance chain'.

She is a Director KC International and a tutor for Performance Stability and Kinetic Control. Sarah is also a certified Pilates Matwork instructor with the PILATES Foundation UK and is a certified GYROTONIC® trainer and incorporates these valuable tools in her clinical practice. She has a clinical practice in Ludlow, UK The Movement Works

Michael Nicol
The Performance Matrix Instructor (UK & Europe)

Michael graduated in Sport Rehabilitation from St Mary’s College in 2001 before becoming completing a Masters in Sport Medicine from Nottingham University in 2004. Michael has lectured on the Undergraduate and Masters Degrees at St Mary’s College as well as working in both amateur and professional sport. He sits on the executive committee for the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT) and the editorial board for Sport Ex Dynamics. Michael is now also a registered physiotherapist and currently works as Clinic Director at Sport Dimensions in London, a clinic which provides Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation and Performance Training to athletes and recreational sports people.

Michael has taught Performance Stability courses for the last 3 years both in the UK and in Europe. He has also used the Performance Matrix Screening within professional football, GB Canoeing and professional golf.

Tania Cotton
The Performance Matrix Course Tutor (UK and Europe)

Tania trained as a physiotherapist at Kings College in London and subsequently completed an MSc Module in Movement Dysfunction at Keele University. She has been involved with KC International for over 10 years and is now an experienced tutor for Performance Stability Ltd. Tania is also a BASI II ski teacher and a Level 1 GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® trainer. Tania runs 'Movement Masters' in Chamonix Mont Blanc, France. This clinic offers a performance focused approach to physiotherapy and movement analysis.

Damien Moroney
The Performance Matrix Instructor (Canada)

Damien Moroney has been a Physical Therapist in Canada since 1992. He has treated and provided consulting services to the B2TEN Olympic Athlete Development Program, The Red Bull Canada High Performance Athletes and PGA touring professionals including Davis Love III. Damien has been invited to present Performance Stability concepts and evaluate athletes involved with Cirque du Soleil, the Montreal Canadians, the Canadian Athletic Coaching Centre and the Canadian Sport Centre in Calgary. He has taught Performance Stability courses in Belfast, Calgary, Canmore, Toronto and Montreal.

Chad Brenzikofer
The Performance Matrix Instructor (USA)

After graduating from Fort Lewis College, USA in May 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Chad has taken over 30 manual therapy courses, completed a one-year high velocity spinal manipulation course, earned his strength and conditioning (CSCS) credentials through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), and completed a massage therapy programme at the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado.

Chad has also done consulting work with Al Vermeil, strength & conditioning consultant to the Chicago Bulls.  Chad is the director of Muscle Management Therapies, Inc in Denver Colorado.

Michal Hadala
The Performance Matrix Instructor (Poland & Spain)

Michal is a Physiotherapist and Sport Rehabilitator with a special interest in the assessment, conditioning and retraining of movement and stability faults. After completing his Master degree he was leading the injury rehabilitation unit of the medical department and assisting with the physical conditioning of the South African Team during three years of the America’s Cup.

His most recent experience is that of medical research in collaboration with Universities, Sports Institutes and a physiotherapy position in Sports environments in Valencia.

Currently Michal is finishing his European PhD, “Applied Science in Sport” at the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Valencia, Spain.

Pernille Thomsen
(Physiotherapist 1991)

Pernille is assisting professor at Skodsborg School of Physiotherapy University Collage Capitol, Denmark. Pernille has a Master Degree in Health and Education. In her work she now has a focus on training and physical activity as a health promoting factor.

Pernille has presented at National and International Fitness and Physiotherapy Congresses and lectures on physical therapy, spinning and health promotion. Pernille has a particular interest in movement testing and works with elite handball players, screening for uncontrolled movement (European style handball) She teaches Performance Stability courses in Danish.
